Welcome to My World!

Peacocks 'n' Paint are just a few of the things I do. I have two breeding pair of peafowl and I paint pictures, usually with acrylic but sometimes with oils. My paintings are shown far below on the right. Please scroll down and take a look! My peacocks and other things you might see around the "farm" are on the left. Those are photos of my inspirations!

New Painting ... And peacock story

I posted a new photo and cropped detail photo of my latest painting..."Where's That Worm?"  Check it out below.

We had a young couple and their 4 year old son come out to buy peacocks last week, M. and C. Lopez and son Brandon.  C. spoke very little English, but I could tell he was a hard working young man from the paint all over his clothes and arms.  He wanted so badly to give his wife the peacocks she wanted.  They have a small place outside of town with one peahen and some baby chicks. My 3 year old peacock cost far too much for his small wallet.  Baby peachicks cost too much too, but softy that I am, I sold them a pair of babies for $40.  I know...BIG softy, at a loss of $60.  So Trevor took his share, remember the deal is 50/50!  He was happy with his $20 bill.  I will buy another bag of bird feed.  We've moved the remaining two babies to the barn so no more peachicks in the library and that makes me happy!
