We had LOTS of tear-jerking heartfelt cards for my husband, Paul (who just happens to be the most awesome, wonderful Dad to five children and a Father figure to three grandsons), a family dinner and an awesome impractical gift!
Tonight Bev and Trevor are sleeping in Paul's new 18'x10' tepee tent. Grandson Trevor thinks it is a fabulous gift. Paul did too, but says he would have loved it even more if he had it 20 years ago, back when he would actually sleep on the ground without our comfy mattress and air conditioning! We used to have large rubber rafts and go on whitewater raft trips in Colorado and Utah...it would have been wonderful back then! Oh well...the grandsons and our children may use it. The guys set it up in the yard after dinner. It took about five minutes to set it up. What fun! Who else has a tepee in their front yard???? I will have to wait for morning to take pictures!
